ᥲทᧁׁᧉິℓs༊ lore The old clock in the hall chimed seven times as Belle, Lauren, and Lin burst through the front door of Hailey's house, giggling and holding sleeping bags, snacks, and enough movies to last a week. Cheery was already there, meticulously arranging a fort of blankets and pillows in the living room. "Welcome to the ultimate sleepover!" Hailey announced, doing a little curtsy. " The evening started with a whirlwind of pizza, popcorn, and a disastrous attempt at a TikTok dance challenge. As the sugar rush started to wear off, Hailey's mom poked her head into the living room. "Girls, why don't you explore the attic? I think there are some old board games up there." A collective cheer went up. The attic! A treasure trove of forgotten relics and spooky mysteries. With flashlights in hand, the five friends crept up the creaky stairs. Dust motes danced in the beams of their lights as they navigated through cobweb-draped furniture and stacks of forgotten boxes. "Look!" Belle exclaimed, pointing to a small, wooden chest tucked away in a corner. Inside, buried with old toys and faded photographs, was a book. It had a worn leather cover, the title said, "Dreamland" "Don't open it!" Lauren warned, but Hailey, ever the curious one, reached out and opened the book A soft, musical chime filled the attic, and a gentle, glowing mist swirled around them. Suddenly, the dusty attic vanished, replaced by a landscape of blue-ish wispy clouds and rivers that sparkled. The sky was a perpetual twilight, painted with hues of lavender and rose. "Whoa," Lin whispered, her eyes wide with wonder. "Where are we?" "I have no idea," Cheery said, Their first attempts to escape were, predictably, chaotic. They tried to retrace their steps, but the "attic" was nowhere to be found. They called out, but their voices seemed to dissolve into the soft, sweet air. Hailey, ever the leader, decided they needed a plan. "Okay, new strategy," she announced, planting her hands on her hips. "We need to find a way out of here. Maybe the book can help." They searched for the mysterious book, but it was gone. Instead, they found a path made of cream-colored bricks leading into a forest of shimmering, oak trees. "Looks like an adventure awaits!" Belle said, trying to sound brave. They followed the path, each turn bringing a new wonder, but also a growing sense of unease. The dreamlike beauty was starting to feel like a gilded cage.
