INSTRUCTIONS: watch two different species compete (they are competing for nothing at the moment). whenever an organism makes contact with a wall, they replicate. when an organism replicates, it changes its color and brightness by a random amount. whenever an organism touches another organism, they both get hurt and dash forward, regardless of species. when organisms within the same species start to look different, this is called divergence. when the two species start to look alike, this is called convergence. this is rarer than divergence.
