So… crap’s happening. As it seems, Scratch will have an AI trained on our projects. So I said: “huh, well at least they aren’t doing generative AI, and they’re not doing it right now but later…” BUT The changes mean they can use your projects to train their AI without your permission, there’s no way to prevent it, because the pop-up that tells you to agree to the new TOS doesn’t make you use Scratch until you accept. Scratch Team made a clarification saying that no personal data about the USERS will used (no pun intended), so at least that’s a relief. So, long story short, I don’t like my projects (and yours too) being used to train an AI without having an option to say no. UPDATE: ST and moderators did not know about these changes, and that is messed up.
