Leaving Scratch. I've heard and seen this sentiment several times now, and I thought I would stay for much longer, but the website has completely fallen apart. The Scratch Team doesn't care about the community. If they did, they'd know how many artists are on the platform and how opposed people have been to artificial intelligence. They still treat it entirely as a coding platform and not as a social or art sharing site, which it has ultimately become. I've met some of my best online friends here, and connected and reconnected with my IRL friends with it too. For the most part, I don't care if people use AI to make projects or get inspiration. However, being trained on AI really puts a bad taste in my mouth without a way to opt out. So I'm done. This doesn't mean I'm leaving entirely. I may still post on occasion. However, my main projects and games will not be going here anymore, for the most part I'll be using it for marketing my off-site projects and playing games. I'm not going to post any more games or animations here. I'm only going to post main projects on YouTube, Itch, and Steam. I'll still compete on CC and maybe post guides for it on my alt. I won't post music, games, or animations here anymore, but I'll link them. I'll still comment and check out stuff. That's it. See ya. Excited for CCS5.
