Attention scratchers!! You probably already know about the new scratch terms of service. If not, here’s a project that explains what’s happening very well. https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1269751874 As the users of this website, we have power in numbers. If we peacefully protest this new addition to the website, the team might listen to us. I suggest we boycott. We pick a week where nobody gets online. Nobody posts, nobody comments, just dead silence from the entire scratch community. Spread the word, post projects, let the CEO know how against the new terms of service we are. At least convince them to add an opt out option. (Also!! This is not an incentive to be rude and disrespectful to the scratch team. We can do this in a civilized manner) February 1st to the 7th, we boycott. BanG!
Ik spoppers, that taking these days off is not relevant to our schedules, but we need a change in this system, and if this is what it really takes, then I am so in on it. We're a lot of ppl together, not only that, but we're on almost daily. We can not let our voice be unheard from the scratch team. This is not fair to us, so we need to show them what they're doing wrong. Please, join me, and join us.
