Yep. I’m talking about the AI. Don’t want to read the whole thing? Here’s a summary: I don’t like AI, Scratch sucks, bye y’all I’m leaving (I’ll be on other sites, look inside the project) I’ve seen lots of projects about the AI, and am aware that our projects and art are currently NOT being used to train AI. However, based on the wording in the tos, that could change. As an artist, I would NEVER let AI use my art. I loved posting on Scratch because compared to other sites (such as DA and YT) there was pretty much no AI. But if this AI is implemented, I don’t want it to steal art. This AI is apparently supposed to help with coding, but that’s what the community is for! We help each other code, and even have tutorials and the remix feature, which can help people struggling! However, in the past year, I’ve been seeing the remix feature being misused (think of the time when everyone’s projects were being remixed and filled with inappropriate content). I’ve also seen people being less safe online, and while Scratch is relatively safe, it’s never a good idea to post your real name, age, birthday, etc. Basically, the community is becoming less safe and helpful, and this AI will not help with that. I’m going to unshare my projects for now. I might reshare them in the future, but I’ll be pretty much inactive. Yep. There’s more info in the project too, including a section of the terms of service and info for if I do leave. And as Doll says in Murd3r Drones, fight back. Don’t let your art, your writing, your projects, whatever you create be stolen. Fight back. Picture is from pin
