Hayyy I'm back! Sorry for disappearing TvT Scroll down for story! Tallulah POV I turn on my phone and find multiple missed messages. Emily ‘How are you after yesterday?’ ‘Tallulah?’ ‘Are you there?’ ‘You’re usually awake by now’ MISSED CALL MISSED CALL ‘Tallulah, I’m scared’ MISSED CALL ‘Tallulah, answer me!’ I send her a message. You ‘im fine. woke up late. not coming in’ I go to my chat with Lia. CONTACT ‘Lia’ HAS BLOCKED YOU I expected that. I block her back and close my phone screen. No point in checking any of the other chats. They’ll all be the same. I want to power it off entirely, but the fact that Emily might want to talk to me stops me. I curl up under the blanket again. “Hey, Lulu? Mum’s just taken Max off to school, and Dad left before you woke up.” June seems to teleport to the doorway. “I called the school to let them know you’ll be off, and messaged Luna to tell Lia.” “What does it matter?” I say, deadpan. “What do you mean?” June sits on my bed again. “We had a big fight. Blocked each other.” “Oh, I see. Do you not think you’ll be friends again?” “Probably not,” I sit up. “It’s unlikely.” “Ah,” she looks down at her lap. “Would you like some breakfast? I can toast some waffles if you want.” “Sure.” I drag myself out of bed, leaving my phone in my room. No point in bringing it out. I sit at the table and June hands me a plate. “Since we’ve got nothing to do today, would you like me to take you to the hair salon?” She sits opposite me as I eat. “Why?” “To even up your haircut.” My hand shoots to my head. “It’s not that bad!” “I beg to differ. I mean, I could get Luna to do it?” “No. I don’t want to see anyone related to Lia today.” I grimace. June nods. “Understandable. I’ll book an appointment, okay?” “Okay.” When I finish, I put my plate by the sink and then retreat to my room again. I close the door and pick up my guitar, feeling the red, shiny finish with my hands. This definitely feels like an opportunity to write a song.
