Although he only informs circus-goers of the time until the next show, his role is important. Despite being blind, Tokei is a hardworking individual who is always punctual, with little tolerance for tardiness or schedule changes. He helps keep his fellow performers in line when they misbehave. Tokei also possesses the ability to see into the future and can predict events before they occur. Despite being one of the most sane people at the Freakshow, Tarrant still enjoys time-based puns after being hit with the classic “Time to get a new watch” joke. He is good friends with Pops, as he and his sister Fizz were part of the same rebellion group before the latter’s arms were blown off in an accident.
