By 1917, the Great War had devoured empires and youth alike, turning Europe into a scarred machine that demanded ever more lives to keep its gears grinding. Now, as fresh armies march toward the thunder of artillery, the world holds its breath, knowing the next push could shatter nations—or forge legends in the smoke. One IRL day is one in game month. The light red line is the trench lines of the Central Powers. Light blue is the trench lines for the Entente. Black dots are the capital cities. Some basic rules 1. No power play. Things like "I invade Russia and they immediately surrender" Or using/gaining an absurd number of soldiers, weapons or money are NOT allowed. LOOKING AT YOU PASTA 2. Stay on track with history. You can tweak a few things, but your allies are your allies and enemies are enemies. No fighting allies and no allying with enemies. 3. Be diplomatic. Don't just declare war on another country. Start with cutting off ties or sending an ultimatum at first. Use war as a threat. And when declaring war give a reason why. Guidelines for an ultimatum: Use it for something like forcing someone to give you land or making them submit to you. Do not make war a result of them denying the ultimatum unless it is to gain land or control of them. How diplomacy should look: Spain wants to make a trade agreement with Italy, so they send diplomats to Rome to meet with Italian government officials. The Italian officials can either accept the trade agreement and sign the treaty, or they can refuse and send the Spanish diplomats back home. Spain can respond by either blockading (which is a bit far but still fair and also an act of war depending on the Italians view of it) Or they can accept and try to improve ties (ideally what they would do) Another example is say Germany wants to discuss peace terms with Britian and France. The leaders meet up and talk about it. Germany can unconditionally surrender (Ideally if they're losing badly) Or they can talk about just packing up going home and forgetting the war happened. Now obviously everyone is going to want something out of the war but if both sides are in a stalemate this is the best course of action. Diplomacy includes things such as Treaties, trade agreements, alliances, and war.
