Attention scratchers!! You probably already know about the new scratch terms of service. If we peacefully protest this new addition to the website, the team might listen to us. I suggest we boycott. We pick a week where nobody gets online. Nobody posts, nobody comments, just dead silence from the entire scratch community. Spread the word, post projects, let the CEO know how against the new terms of service we are. At least convince them to add an opt out option. (Also!! This is not an incentive to be rude and disrespectful to the scratch team. We can do this in a civilized manner) February 1st to the 7th, we boycott.
AI is a TOOL, not an excuse to not be creative. AI is being used to "make" art, stories, and even music. THIS IS NOT OKAY!!!! Just LEARN how to draw, LEARN how to make good stories, and LEARN instruments! You think you're bad at it? JUST KEEP TRYING!!! A year ago I could barely draw a stickman, and now I am able to draw at least a little decently! One of the most important skills to learn in life is the skill of LEARNING. Never stop learning. DON'T LET AI LEARN FOR YOU!!!
