I wasn't going to share why I left Scratch, but I feel that you all deserve to know why. I don't think Scratch is going to feed little kid's art to AI, there wouldn't be a point. And the agreement they had everybody read was kind of vague, not enough to make me leave, anyway. but half my friends are gone. And this website isn't fun anymore.
So this is goodbye. I wish things had played out differently, but I encourage people to THINK before they leave forever. What good would feeding kid's work to AI do? I honestly think the Scratch team is smarter than that. But I have thought about it, and I'm going to leave.
