Turns out I might be sticking around for a while longer; I guess I just couldn't leave you guys. Unfinished projects will be released so that I can finally finish up IceBlockStudios and will allow me to be able to focus more on Godot. So... Welp, it was bound to happen eventually. People are leaving a lot these days, I thought I might have some more in me, but this is probably it. I just needed to find the engine that I liked, and it would be adios to Scratch. Why Godot? It has a scripting system that is readable and easy to understand, if I look at GDScript I can see what it's doing. Whereas if I look at say Luau (Roblocs) or C++ (Unity/UE) it just doesn't click, it's really complicated. Plus, it has a 2d editor which is nice and a lotta stuff built in. Where am I going from here? Probably becoming an indie dev and trying to make something cool for people to play. Maybe I'll come back and I'll likely check profile stuff, but for now all the Scratch stuff is postponed. Godot is a more powerful engine anyways so I might port some of my Scratch projects to Godot. I'm planning on eventually moving to 3D games, and who knows, you may just see another IceBlockStudios out there somewhere in the real world. You can think "Oh, I know him!" or not. But this is really just official cancellation of further Scratch work. See yall around. -IceBlockStudios.
