MY 2 SILLIES AHHHHHHH- Well here's the writing I know you've been waiting for ;) Leaf’Clan Shrimppaw was waiting to be a warrior, he’d been waiting for 2 moons! So what if he was 13 moons, he’s old enough to be a warrior now. He shuffles over to Dovepelt, and sits awkwardly next to her. “Hah, little bro, what are you doing over here? You should be at training.” “I’ve been training for so long! I wanna be a warrior now.” Dovepelt licks her paw and draws it over her ear. “You’re only 13 moons. Maybe next moon you’ll be a warrior.” Dovepelt stands up and walks over to Sandclaw, and Shrimppaw walks over to the Apprentice den, a stone with a crack going up. He pads his moss bed, and lays down. Maybe one day… Petaltail was wondering, would Mozart really be a good nickname? I mean, you’re supposed to call a cat by their full warrior name, but Mozart… It was an easier way to say Mozartclaw without the whole thing. Mozartclaw was a mouthful. “Petal!” Mozartclaw called. Petaltail turned and they nuzzled each other for a while. “What are you doing here?! If my clan sees us, we’re both getting banished.” “Forget your clan. I wanted to ask, have you seen Evergreenleaf? She’s been missing for as long as Sunpaw.” “Oh well, uh, I haven’t smelled her on any borders… I haven’t seen anything.” Petaltail shuffled back slightly. “Don’t worry about seeing or smelling her. Have you seen any tracks?” Her eyes lit up as she remembered, she had seen some paw tracks earlier! “I think I might have seen some paw tracks… C’mon!” As Petaltail gets closer to the tracks, she can smell the faint smell of Evergreenleaf. “This way!” She beckons Mozart. She races through the trees, and hears a faint yowl of pain, then silence. As she grows closer to where the sound came from… she can smell that Evergreenleaf’s scent is getting stronger, as well as crowfood and fresh blood. She peers from behind a bush, and sees 3 cats standing over Evergreen, her beautiful bright green eyes glowing with hatred and determination. “I should have known. Now tell me, WHERE. IS. MOZARTCLAW?” An unfamiliar voice snarls at Evergreenleaf. Mozart freezes, his breath panicked. “He’s not here!” Evergreenleaf spits, her voice raspy and choked since blood is in her mouth, her OWN blood. “Liar! Tell me where that traitor is, before I go and kill that old mousebrain, Juniperwhisker!” Said the unfamiliar voice again. The other 2 cats were growling at Evergreen, yet her eyes never wavered. “I said he’s not here! And even if you did find him, you’d only make his cause stronger.” “This is why I’m telling Bitterstar. The sooner we get his plan in motion, the sooner we can have full control of the forest and kill ALL those traitors. You will serve as a message.” The voice vowed. Then, that cat struck down on her, and they all fled the scene. Slowly, Petaltail and Mozart came out from hiding. Evergreen lie motionless and unbreathing on the forest floor. “I’m so sorry Mozart..” Petaltail whispers, licking his ear gingerly. “She died a brave cat.” Petal pulls Mozart away from the scene, and Mozart stays with his ears pinned, and his tail drooping. “I-I didn’t think that Esperflight was like that… I trusted her, and Grasshopperpaw… What a fool I was, what a fool!” He says quietly to himself. “It’s ok. You’ll come back stronger from this.” Mozart pulled away from Petal. “You don’t understand. She was always there for me. And the moment she needed me most… I failed.” I think I hurt my heart writing this
