What is a therian? A therian, basically, is someone who feels a real connection to an animal on the inside — mentally, instinctually, or even spiritually. They might experience shifts, where their thoughts, feelings, or instincts align more with their animal. Isn't that just a fancier way to say furry?? No, actually. A furry and a therian are different. Very different, actually! How? Well, the difference between Furries and Therians is this: Therians = it’s about how you feel inside. Furries = it’s about what you enjoy. Like art, costumes, or roleplay! Some people are both, but basically, therians are identity, furries are fandom.
