I made a project about this a while ago (https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1182164468) but this is getting really out of hand. I'm sure you've heard the ST is planning to add AI art to Scratch. They're saying it'll help kids, for some reason. But it goes against everything Scratch is supposed to stand for. AI doesn't promote creativity. It promotes laziness. Why go through the trouble of drawing if I can ask a computer to draw something FOR me? This is really bad for kids and just sets them up for failure in the future; instead of solving their own problems, or trying to do their own work, they'll find ways to push the work onto computers or other people. That isn't good at all. AI shouldn't be added. There's more things about why AI shouldn't be added in the project I linked above, but for now, you can help me and the rest of the Anti-AI community by doing these few things: 1. Use the PFP in the project (go into the costume, double click on it and choose export, then upload it as your PFP.) 2. Remix this project and set it as your featured project 3. Email the ST about this. They can't ignore everyone. 4. If the ST actually ends up adding AI to Scratch, DON'T USE IT. Boycott AI if you can. Please help us spread the message! Have a good day/night!
