Welcome to Layla’s Supreme Court of Scratch Justice! Or LSCSJ, for short :3. Whenever there’s a conflict, big or small, serious or silly, you can come here to settle it. Because why not? (Eventually) there’ll be on-demand lawyers available to support you. To have a trial, there must be: 1. Two lawyers that are free and willing to argue one of the sides (not the same one!) 2. Two people who have two opposite sides of whatever argument 3. I gotta be available, cuz I’m the judge (though I normally am) 4. At least one person who was involved, has seen this, or is totally oblivious to what’s going on but wants to be there anyway to serve as the jury. 5. Someone sends me a message that there’s a dispute (pls not in the forums I don’t always see them) 6. Everyone agrees on a date and time (the place is automatically this topic) How a trial goes: 1. I do that “do you pledge to say the truth and only the truth” thing. 2. Both lawyers say what their opening point is, basically showing me and the jury what side they’re on. 3. Both lawyers give supports for their points. Real, rock-solid info to support their side. 4. Both lawyers conclude their points however they wanna. 5. The jury gets 5 minutes max to choose which side they think is right. 6. If I think the choice is unbiased, it is decided. RULES OF COURT: - no interrupting any peeps - each case must be named so I can give a link to where it starts - No bribery of any kind! Before or during the trial! - I must approve of any statements before moving on. - Each case starts at one message from me and each reply is a statement. Any replies not part of this chain (unless we get to too many replies or smtn, let me know) will not be considered as part of the case. Lawyers: None Cases: None yet!
