Percy was built in 1887 alongside his autistic brother Noah, one year after Edward was built on the Furness Railway. He and Noah were separated only at the young age of 5 with Noah going to the LBSCR and Percy sold to a workshop and being painted grey, causing Percy to constantly worry over Noah's safety. Sir Topham Hatt brought him in 1926 when the big engines went on strike. On Christmas Eve, 1945, Percy got news that his brother, Noah, was now on Sodor forever and tried his hardest to see him but failed. Percy was heartbroken until that night in the sheds when he did see Noah. It was a tearful, but happy, reunion. After that, Percy's life plays the same as in the RWS and TVS.
