Arrow Keys or WASD to move Press T to activate the stopwatch Test 009 - Proper Attack Randomization Logic Logic is going to be about what I want to have for the "tutorial" layer, so I... hope it'll be relatively easy.
Completed Jan 30th, 2026, 15:38 CDT Yeah so it's been a half of a year. Mostly due to learning/using Godot And I've been going crazy with it Yeah so I've been working on a game that is, creatively named and designed: Tag. No joke, it is literally just tag. I am taking high inspirations from the 'Cool Math Games' and unblocked games' 'Classroom 6x' versions of tag, but I am still attempting to make it more unique them just a combination of the two of them. I currently have the basic gameplay of tag functional, also with a... functional, GUI. Some custom options, like jump count or map behavior, and some custom key-binds too. Planning on adding other game modes, peer-to-peer connections, level editor, etc. I have too much motivation for this. Probably isn't exactly user friendly, but it sure as heck isn't ready for release yet, so I do have time. Anyways after this I am going to try to make a "utility" in Godot, primarily because I am beyond unorganized. Going to try to make it highly customizable and compile it for primary web use. Doing this because I saw some other coders use the same program to organize their progress, and I'm a special kind of lazy who doesn't want to look for it, but is okay with making it myself. Yeah so I'll do that Also, I was going to add mobile controls, but I was burning a little bit out of scratch. Funnily enough, I'm returning for a short period of time due to more burnout after making a horrendous camera controls (for "large maps" with major inspiration from Classroom 6x's Tag). I'm also thinking of learning C++ and/or Javascript, maybe? Not sure, thinking that a new thing like that could be useful. Also think it could be fun to use a more widely used scripting language without an actual UI (not going back to python, I might as well just use Godot if I do that) I was about to rework the code a little bit to be more efficient (which you can see in the player code with it's comments and custom blocks), but my attention span is less than the weight of a few grasshopper legs (and a general lack of motivation), so I guess I'll have some partially modified player code and a decently organized attack randomization. Idk I'm running out of energy to do anything now. I don't know anymore. Okay back to the void I go Time to actually start coding this instead of changing the player code and giving up. Cool Finished coding, I absolutely love what I have done. It's still pretty hard, but that's what I was going for. However, it... may be unfair. Idk. That's up for you to decide (I announce to nobody) Anyways into a different void I go
