disclaimers!! sorry if this isn't very cohesive. i havent reread this and please lmk if i repeat anything or if anything is phrased badly this rant is about my thoughts on scratch's usage of ai. it will be my own opinion/experience/however you phrase it, because there's a lot of uncertainty and i don't have the facts. this isn't somewhere you can learn about what's happening (sorry! 3:), just what i plan to do in response. i'll link some other projects i read that were more informational in the notes and credits. if you find other good sources please hmu in the comments i'll love you forever unless you're three specific people i also don’t have much to add, just a general disappointment that the entire art community has been sharing. --- i'm. i'm appalled. i'm genuinely so exhausted. i'd stopped posting to dA and i was scared of posting anywhere else in case my art was scraped. but now we have to be paranoid that the new tos will eventually allow scratch to use our art. scratch is where ive drawn and animated for six years. i dont even know how any other software works. ive made so many memories on this site and so many accounts, and i had so many plans for this account in general that i just couldn't execute anywhere else. i'd taken a bit of a mental health hiatus and this happens as i return? are you kidding me? this shouldnt even be happening at all. i'm so tired of this. ai shouldn't be included here. whenever i struggle with code, i either play around with different solutions, or i LOOK FOR AN EXISTING TUTORIAL??? hello>???? if this does get worse, i'll probably stop posting here alltogether. but i really, really don't want to do that and i genuinely hope the scratchteam sees that we're opposing this. we don't want this. for now, i think i'm going to post like normal. as completely disappointing as this is, i don't have any good alternatives yet. a lot of my friends are here and i'm not ready to give up my account yet if any of you have any good alternative sites where i can post, please lmk. i basically don't have anything except scratch and magma, so you can recommend anything.
