After further research and not just believing everything I hear at first glance, I now understand the situation in more detail and I'm in support of the way Scratch is using AI. Don't get me wrong, commercial use of generative artificial intelligence is not a good idea, but this is an exception. I only agree with this initiative because of the importance to the Scratch developers to credit the original artists and help younger programmers. Expect new projects from me soon!
