☆This is not meant to be hate! These are just my opinions on the eliminated A2K contestants.☆ ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆MISCHA☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ CONTEXT: Mischa was the first one eliminated in A2K and the only person to be eliminated from the LA Boot Camp while all the other girls got to go to Korea. (Melissa got the opportunity but chose not to.) MY THOUGHTS ON HER TALENT: Mischa was literally self-taught, yet her vocals were fairly stable and her dance stiff. Obviously Camila/Savanna/Lexi/etc. will be more talented. Those girls had years of training. Kaylee was another self-taught contestant who actually got a debut spot. Kaylee was honestly better than Mischa for a self-taught person, but Mischa wasn't bad. Her dancing was stiff but her vocal stability was impressive. MY THOUGHTS ON HER ELIMINATION: I feel like eliminating her alone was so cruel and obviously going to make her extremely upset. She broke down crying, and I could feel her disappointment through my screen. JYP just said "You did amazing," and some other stuff. If she did amazing, why did you eliminate her? Had she said that she was self-taught and put emphasis on it, she probably would have gone to Korea. RANT (if any): Her elimination was already unfair, but when Melissa gave up her spot in Korea couldn't they have invited Mischa back? Someone left the show, so invite an eliminated contestant back! It's literally so obvious. ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆YUNA☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ CONTEXT: Yuna was the second one eliminated from A2K, but she went to Korea. She was eliminated for ranking last place twice. MY THOUGHTS ON HER TALENT: Yuna was good during the LA Boot Camp for someone who was self-taught, but in Korea when she received training I wasn't impressed. She made some progress, but for someone with professional trainers in a huge K-Pop company, she didn't improve enough. MY THOUGHTS ON HER ELIMINATION: I love Yuna and she was my favorite during the first episode of A2K. But her elimination, it wasn't really unfair. She didn't improve enough. I think she would've really improved if she had been given more time. It's sad that she was eliminated but not necessarily unfair. RANT(if any): She was so underrated during the boot camp! ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆GINA☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ ☆CONTEXT☆: Gina made it to the final stage but did not debut in VCHA. She was a JYP trainee before A2K. ☆MY THOUGHTS ON HER TALENT☆ I love Gina, I think she is a great person. But for a JYP trainee, I don't think she was too much if I'm being honest. Her vocals were weaker than other contestants who hadn't been trained under JYP, and so was her dance. I don't mean to hate on her in any way, but in all honesty, I think her talent didn't fit with her trainee status. ☆MY THOUGHTS ON HER ELIMINATION☆ Her elimination was honestly not unfair - she had not made enough improvement and her emotion-expressing was lacking compared to the others. ☆RANT (IF ANY)☆ She looked SO SAD after elimination and I feel so bad...at least she has a nice solo career now? She seems happier. ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆CONTEXT☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ Cristina made it as far as Gina but was eliminated at the final mission. She didn't debut. After elimination, she liked posts hating on VCHA. ☆☆☆☆MY THOUGHTS ON HER TALENT☆☆☆☆☆ Cristina made no improvement in her dance whatsoever, but she made a lot of improvement in her vocals. In the final mission, I think she was really stable. Her dance was the best during the LA Boot Camp but I feel like it literally had no change in skill level at all. ☆☆☆MY THOUGHTS ON HER ELIMINATION☆☆☆☆ It makes sense, honestly. People like Kendall who didn't have as much skill at least made a lot of improvement in all aspects, but Cristina didn't. I'm happy she was eliminated. She showed us her real personality when she liked those posts which were hating. ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆RANT (if any)☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ I don't have a rant about her elimination. I don't think she deserved a debut. Haters don't deserve success.
