The first two designs of the shadows pass by! Hehehe- thought it was only fair to do the two eldest Icarus first. But also like- pearl’s design has been stuck in my brain for WEEKS- *ahem* Are these guys the main characters? Somewhat. They are all main characters in some way. Anyways uh- 1: Pearl Icarus Vers1 - can’t see anything because the dark has taken over her eyes completely. The dark is also slowly creeping up her fingers, which causes uncontrollable shaking in the lower area of her hands. - wears a dull red cloak with a purple collar, cloak covers most of body, has creamy yellow stripes along the cloak in large spacings. Blueish grey shirt underneath. Cloak covers most of it most of the time when she runs. - hair incredibly wild looking because she don’t need no hair brush to have a good time - very doglike, she relies on scent and hearing to find her way. quiet but can also be loud when needed. spends most of her time running through the forest in the underneath till her lungs give out. - dosent like grian that much now that he’s left to join the Revolution against the dark. She has in fact disowned this guy. - second oldest of the Icarus siblings. - she talks to the dark, and the dark tells her to do stuff. It’s simple really. 2: Grian Icarus Vers1 - eyes taken over by the dark. Has major scarring on his back from it. - main wings are nearly completely torn off from the dark. Also has a scar that extends from his torso to his cheek that emanates dark energy. - wears lots of armour scraps he finds from the rubbish heap from the ‘above’ - red jumper covers most of the scarring, used to wear glasses before deciding they were a waste of his time. Has a black harness with white mismatched buttons to keep his wings in place and stop them from completely falling off. - hair varies from wild to neat depending on how much energy he has to braid his hair. - cannot fly because of the dark, has trouble seeing in bright rooms and dark rooms, basically a good balance Of light and he should be fine. - slowly but surely healing from the dark. - apart of Scars rebel group. Trying to help their mission to find the exit to the above world. - appears very guarded most of the time, however lightens up a lot more when you get to know him. He’s just uncomfortable around strangers in case they are infected by the dark. - scared of what will happen if he runs into someone as loyal to the watchlings as pearl was. He believes he was let off by pearl easier due to her being family. - oldest of the Icarus siblings. One day I’ll explain lore but uhhh- here’s a quick summary for y’all ^^ So basically there’s the above ground, and then the lower ground. The lower ground has a thing called the dark which is basically kind of like a parasite that is slowly spreading across the lower ground. Because of this the above ground shut off any contact with the lower ground people and now all the lower ground people are left alone to survive. Lots of groups were formed in the lower ground with a bunch of different goals. The groups that these two are from are the watchlings (pearl. Grian left) and scars group (Grian, and pearl hates him for it) The watchlings believe that they must let the dark take over them completely to gain freedom and power, basically kind of like a c>lt that worships the dark. And then scars group are a small group of rebels who are fighting against the dark and trying to find an entrance into the above ground to gain freedom from the cruel world of the lower ground.
