Click/tap, any keys to switch between the picture without me having drawn on it & the picture I drew on - infodumping about my thought processes for assigning the classes! quick thing— By the way there are no leaks shown or really described in this project. I do mention some stuff from the leaked untraineds but that’s it. It’s only Mizuki and Rui’s assigned “weapons” because you can’t see them in this picture. (also, disclaimer— I do not usually look at leaks, and I never condone them. I never seek them out, but I usually scroll away quickly if they show up. For this event, though, I did look at them only because of the controversy surrounding the lineup. Which i talk a little about at the end of the notes & credits) I based the classes off what they’re holding, mostly. They’re also all Fire Emblem Awakening specifically because that’s the only Fire Emblem game I have experience with, as I watched my dad play it when I was little (around 7-8yrs old probably). Anyways, I thought of this when I realized Toya is literally holding a CLERIC staff !!! So that was the most obvious class for him (though male Clerics are actually called Priests, which I did not know at first, so he’d be a Priest). However, if you weren’t ONLY going off what he’s holding, he could also be a Sage or War Monk, which are classes that can wield staffs and weapons (sword and axe respectively). Priests can be promoted to either of those classes. As for Rui, it was pretty easy as well given how he has often been symbolized with sorcerers and scientists. Also, he has a book which is like a tome! I put Sorcerer OR Mage without much thought since I knew them off the top of my head, but there is a difference between them, of course. The main one is that Sorcerers (and Dark Mages, which can be promoted to Sorcerers) can use dark tomes. So, a Sorcerer is probably the most accurate if you ask me. Since Tsukasa, Akito, and Mizuki (kind of) have swords, I just looked at all the classes that can use swords, looked into/researched them a bit more, and then assigned them that way. Here are some more details on my thought process for each; Mizuki: I thought Trickster would be good because of the name, considering Mizuki’s personality. Additionally, according to the wiki, Tricksters in Awakening “are more adept at supporting their comrades through their staves (another word for staff) or by being decoys” than being offense which I think fits her. Trickster promotes from (is using what is technically Pokémon terminology [“promotes from” is like “evolves from”] appropriate here?) Thief, which she could also be since I assigned Akito and Toya, who are also second years, classes that aren’t promoted, and Tsukasa and Rui, who are third years, classes that are promoted. Akito: It was between Mercenary, Paladin, and Myrmidon classes for Akito, since they all wield swords. Paladins ride horses, which did not seem very Akito to me. I read on the Mercenary page that they generally have better HP, Defense, and Strength than Myrmidons, who usually have better Speed and Skill. I mostly picked Mercenary for Akito based on this fact, since having better Defense and Strength specifically over Speed and Skill seemed accurate to him, I guess. Tsukasa: I would have loved to pick pegasus knight for him, with his, “Tenma, written as soaring pegasus!” but guess what? It’s a female only class! Not to mention they can only wield lances in Awakening. Anyways, I picked Great Knight for Tsukasa because they wield swords and also the name fits him. Cavaliers and regular Knights can be promoted to Great Knights. If you wanted to keep at least SOME type of horse, without wings, he could be a Cavalier or Paladin. Cavaliers also can be promoted to Paladins. ———— I hope you enjoyed? Thank you for reading? ( ^ω^ )? What’s the overlap of Project Sekai fans and people who know Fire Emblem? Please read the notes & credits for why I decided to infodump lol, it’s not even that I’m necessarily passionate about this, it’s just like… I have so much motivation to do pointless stuff such as picking and then explaining Fire Emblem Awakening classes for Mizuki and … is it better to say “Fantasista Squad”, “the boys”, or “Tsukasa, Rui, Akito, and Toya”? [thinking emoji] ANYWAYS White Day Trio! White Day Trio! White Day Trio! White Day Trio! White Day Trio! White Day Trio! White Dsy Trio! hite Day Trio! White Day Trio! White Day Trio! (kept my typos for proof I wrote those all out every time and didn’t copy & paste)
Hi, I think I feel like typing a lot and infodumping right now bc I took my ADHD meds today, which I hadn’t taken for a week until yesterday due to the snow days and virtual school days we’ve been having. I also recently got my prescription changed so that could be a factor song: connect, tv size, by clariS, aka the madoka magica theme song Lineup controversy rambling ————— I was going to detail this in the Instructions but ran out of room/met the character limit! That hasn’t happened in a while, but given everything else I have been saying abt why I’m infodumping it’s not that surprising to me. So, about the lineup— the controversy is like is Sega transphobic for putting Mizuki with all the boys? ………… I have no idea. I don’t think the thought would have even crossed my mind if that wasn’t the first thing I heard about it. At first, I saw the four star cards were her, Tsukasa, and Akito, and was like “White Day Trio is controversial!?!? (´;Д;`)” but then later I saw Rui was the three star and Toya the two star. That did make me think it was a little odd. I think maybe it is a little too soon to judge, given that the story is not even out yet. However I am not transgender so my opinion does not really matter. (Speaking of, while I was thinking about this, I thought, “I’m cis so my opinion doesn’t really matter” but … I’m NOT cis lol. I’m genderfae/doe and just keep forgetting I guess ? not something i think abt much)
