Frostbite pranced around in the snow, unaware of the dangers surrounding them. “Hehe this is so fun!” They cheered, diving face first into a pile of snow. The sky was shrouded with darkness. No light seemed to seep through. Frostbite poked their head out and giggled. After wandering too far from home and losing their family, they’ve decided to explore the world themselves. Poor little guy, they didn't know about I̷t̷…Frostbite sneezed, sending little snowflakes tumbling into the ground. They crawled out of the snow pile. “I-Its getting c-c-cold.” Frostbite whimpered. Frostbite sneezed again. “I’m warm now!” They cheered, jumping excitedly. They leaped around in the snow, laughing and giggling as they sent snow clumps rocketing away. Frostbite excitedly pawed at the snowflakes drifting down from the dark sky. They stopped suddenly and coughed. More blood splattered to the ground except this time, they didn’t feel any pain. Frostbite sniffed. What was happening with them? Blood dripped from their mouth and down their chin, staining the once white snow. They stared at the blood in fear. There was a rustling noise again but it was closer now. Frostbite needed to get out of here. The blood was attracting something. In one sudden move, they bolted north, weaving in between trees.
