Project Atlas was the UIS Space program's first indigenous reusable rocket program designed for Military and Civilian launches to Orbit. Since 2022, over 2000 launches have provided 4000 satellites in Low, medium and Geostationary orbit; allowing 24/7 coverage of the entire planet. This move came after the UIS made the decision to create its own indigenous information, global positioning and networking satellites to reduce global dependency on the UAC's GPS, Alviet CATNASS and SC MeiDou systems along with various commercial satellite companies including SkyLink.
