PSA- All people should be loved and welcomed with open arms in America. The way current programs are treating immigrants is uncivil and is causing unnecessary chaos in our neighborhoods. People of different ethnicities and origins should not have to fear for their lives or be turned down without reason at the borders of a country that is known to be well-developed and progressive compared to the countries they fled or left because of injustice and crime. Our nation was FOUNDED on immigrants. Almost every single person living in the United States is descended from an immigrant, including those who seek to harm and violate their rights as legal citizens of our country. Our former leaders fought to give everyone equality and justice within the arms of the nation and its government, but we as individuals of different sexualities, genders, ethnicities, and religious practices are being persecuted in the face of belief, bias, and bigotry. We need to come together with our brothers, sisters, and ALL of our fellow humans, no matter where they're from or who they are.

So if we’re all getting the same amount, but you started out back there and I started out over here, we could get the same amount, but you’re still going to be that far back behind me.❞ -Kamala Harris ❝In our hearts and in our laws, we must treat all our people with fairness and dignity, regardless of their race, religion, gender or sexual orientation.❞ -Bill Clinton
