January 30, 2026 is a day that I’ll never forget! I was sitting in my anatomy class, and there were a few more minutes until class started. So, I pulled out my iPad to check Scratch, but mainly, to check the Australian Open scores lol. Then, I opened Scratch and saw 71 messages! What?! I am definitely not popular enough to get 71 messages in two hours. A big part of my brain thought, “Oh, some people just had an argument on my profile.” But that tiny voice in my head said, “Maybe you got featured!” Then, I scrolled down because that tiny voice can be right sometimes. And there it was! MY project! Featured! I was so shocked. My mouth opened to a big “O”. I probably got 2000 messages that day. I also received a lot of encouragement from my friends and complete strangers! It was incredible to see. I know from experience that people are really bad listeners. Sometimes, I’m shocked by how people don’t pay attention. But please! I had told people not to advertise on the project. I even linked the Scratch Welcoming Committee so people could advertise there. But no! Also, constructive criticism is okay. But no one wants to hear “This game is bad! Mine is better!” That’s not okay. Instead, maybe comment something that would make it better! Also, people who constantly tell advertisers to stop advertising are kind of annoying as well. You can just report the comment and move on. Saying it one or two times is fine, but not to every single advertiser! I’ve attached some images so you can see. Scratch On!
