It's soon to be almost 1 year since I've first started this account. But now, It's time I might end this story on a high note. Throughout my time here, I've made many friends along the way, seen people quit, and have been invited to studios I'll remember for a long while. It was nice being here for just a few months, but now, all good things must come to an end. Q&A: Q: Why are you quitting? A: Scratch just doesn't really suit me anymore. Not to mention the toxicity of it in recent years, and other game engines having less toxic communities. Q: How come you don't wanna use Scratch anymore? A: Scratch was mainly for beginners, and is pretty limited due to that. Eventually, things change, and what you used to do isn't really something you want to do anymore. Q: Why did you switch over to another engine? A: I've wanted to be a game dev for a while now, and Godot is the engine I've currently chosen. I did it so I would evolve from a children's coding platform to a REAL engine. If I'm being honest, you don't NEED to switch to something else if you REALLY like it. I'm just doing it because I've been using Scratch for 4-5 YEARS now, and to become a true dev. Anyway, with all that said and done, see you on the 1 year anniversary!
