Laurentia has begun to use counterinsurgency tactics within its own borders. We have expressed solidarity with the Orhanan people, and we alienate the southern thalids while waging fierce counterinsurgency against those who choose violence to wear down support of those who choose violence instead of peaceful means. We surround cities using roadblocks, taking advantage of the decentralized rebels to isolate them and avoid large-scale combat, while additionally using our own knowledge of guerilla warfare to avoid mistakes that normally destroy conventional forces.
