Chapter 2- The Carnivore Situation *HOW,- WHAT-, OH [CAW] THERE HAS TO BE SOME EXPLANATION FOR THIS. Maybe I bonked my head into a tree, and I got a concussion? Wait, I don’t think you can get hallucinations from a concussion, unless… ohh, this must be a dream. Well, I might as well make the most of it, right?* She prepared to take off, when she felt a tinge of pain in her left wing. *Right, I almost forgot about that bird that attacked me. If I feel pain, that probably doesn’t mean I’m in a dream. BUT, THAT MEANS-* Her thoughts were interrupted by the growling of her stomach. *Right, I’m hungry. Let’s set that thought aside, and I’ll focus on finding food.* She walked back over to the berry bushes, checking the skies for the bird that attacked her. When she got there, something felt off. For some reason, the dead rabbit looked more appetizing than it did earlier. Something told her to go eat it. She didn’t listen though, and walked up to the berry bush. Right as she was about to eat a berry off of it, she thought, *Oh right, aren’t bald eagles mostly carnivores?* She sighed, and turned towards the rabbit. *Goodbye, delicious berries.* She sat so the rabbit was in front of her. Now that she was closer to it, and she could see the… details, the squeamishness got to her. She felt a little light-headed, but powered through. *I have to eat this, I’m a carnivore now.* She took a reluctant lick, and it surprisingly tasted… decent? She’s had rabbits before, but she hasn’t ever had one raw. *Will I get sick eating this? Wait, I think animals have stronger stomachs.* Once she finished, she felt slightly thirsty. *Next, I need water. In the Hollows, we had facets, but I think that won’t work now. I should try to find a river or pond to drink water from. She walked and looked around, until she found a water source, on an island above her. *Oh great, how will I get up there?*
