Okay, so i went back to Scratch after around a month, and what? They want to use AI now. On the only platform that I thought was good for posting my art without it being fed to a soulless machine. And while some people say it’s not true, for me it’s still VERY unclear if AI will be fed our projects and how will it change in the future. What’s even worse is that children as young as 8 will be now taught that AI is good since it’ll help with projects and other stuff. They might still not be aware of how destructive for both environment AND artists most of AI is. I think people will also feel free to post „ai art” on scratch now. Because since ST is supporting using it, then why not? And it honestly all makes me sick. That the site that I spent 5 years of my life on making art and developing my artstyle will be using the very technology that can learn and steal it in seconds.
Please, DO NOT support the new ideas. If possible, join studios and make projects so ST sees that we don’t want AI on this app and maybe reconsiders it. (Also, if you have any recommendations of AI free apps where I could post my art, feel free to leave them in the comments)
