DFA Records was founded in 2001. Scratch was released to the public in 2007. It's now 2026- and not ONCE in those 19 years of coexsting, has there been a project about the label. I'm putting an end to this madness.
The thumbnail is from the DFA's Facebook page. I found out about this label through being a very large fan of LCD Soundsystem . One day, I was reading about LCD somewhere (I can't remember where) and I found out that James Murphy had co-founded a record label. So, obviously, I checked it out. I listened to the DFA remixes. And **** Robot. And Hot Chip. And Proper Monday Number. And !!!. And Holy Ghost!. (Etc) Oh. My. God. THEY WERE AMAZING!!! So, naturally, I logged onto Scratch a few weeks later like "hey, I should check out some projects about this awesome label!" AND THERE WERE NONE. Not anymore, [all] my friends.
