Hello guys and girlos! Its me again RadLuke2010, back with another retrospective but its one I did before but improved and remastered and that was the first one I did on Five Nights at Ronald's! So today I decided why not make a remake of that retrospective I did with it being way better! I had been anticipating this as much as you guys at home. So buckle up everyone and let us begin this remastered retrospective! Section I: Info about the Game Alright so the game was released back in 2015 and was in development for 6 months and was very controversial being based on an incident in San Ysidro that happened at a local Mcdonald's but the game was played alot on Youtube back then by Dawko, Ethgoesboom, and etc. But I'm done breaking from convention, let us move onto the game! Section II: The Game Alright so the game begins with an intro and a screen with the words "Play the Nightmare" on it and we press it which sends us to the main menu which is just like the FNaF 1 Menu hence the music and with Ronald himself spazzing out like the usual FNaF menu tomfoolery. But we press new game to begin the first night. So the office has two doors on both sides and a vent above which would be important later on down the road! So the phone call begins with the usual FNaF stuff with our phone guy saying what we need to do for the gameplay, the animatronics, and bad things would happen to us if we don't keep them out, and such. But for the first night only three characters are active and those three are: Hamburglar, Grimace, and Inflatable Ronald. So Hamburglar and Grimace are just Bonnie and Chica from FNaF 1 if you see them at the door close it but Inflatable Ronald is just the puppet from FNaF 2 and the doors won't stop him, he goes to the vent above to get you. But the game over is somewhat like FNaF 2 with us inside the suit in a dark room with us inside the Ronald suit. Alright for Night 2 we have Birdie yeah she is just Foxy from FNaF 1. But all the Phone Guy says that he tells how to deal with Birdie and he needs to hang up to visit his son in the hospital. Alright now its the third night and now remember the vent I stated previously well this night its now important with Mayor McCheese and now the Phone Guy is sad and he talks about his son getting an infection and he doesn't have enough cash for his treatments and he doesn't know how he can get it all in time but he explains how to deal with McCheese with the vent and the repel system so if he is about to enter the vent in the Kitchen camera use the repel but it also uses our power along with the doors. But if McCheese gets in, yeah your screwed and he hangs up. After beating Night 3 we get onto Night 4 with the final threat we have to deal with, begin the main man himself.... RONALD! Yeah his mechanic turns him less of a horrific threat but more just a FNaF 1 Freddy clone. But now onto the phone call shall we? So the phone rings and we answer and now the Phone Guy is now absolutely livid and if you want an audio recording of what he says in this phone call then just press the number 4 on your laptop or computer. But if you don't want to hear it then I'll explain what he says here. So the Phone Guy answers with "What did you expect from society, when they just take what you really love." says that forgiveness is not enough for him and he got fired because of the company he was working for (MacRonald's) were greedy and only cared about the money and he says how his son could've been saved and now he wants revenge which implies that his son passed away from his infection he got and now he wants everyone to feel what he felt and says one last line before hanging up "Society has its chance." which fun fact for this line the man behind the infamous Mcdonald's incident (Which I don't want to get into detail because of Scratch guidelines) that the game is based on says that exact line but anyways lets move on now. But Night 5 has nothing interesting and no phone call since its just Night 4 but harder. Anyways after we beat it we get our paycheck from what seems to be the POV of our Phone Guy with a drawing by his son, figurines of Grimace and Hamburgler, and a gun. Which its implied that he was responsible for the incident he mentioned back in Night 1. But now let us move onto the parting thoughts. Section III: Parting Thoughts Honestly this game did not age well with the whole infamous Mcdonald's incident this game was based on and such. But this game is really scary and I like the atmosphere and it has decent gameplay although it was at the time where non-creative mechanics existed so I can forgive it and it wasn't groundbreaking like Playtime with Percy, and other games. But honestly this game somewhat holds up and to me I give this game a 6.9/10 which would mean it gains the Bronze Medal! But that is all I want to say for today's retrospective so thank you all again and I'll see you all next time! - Luke, March 5th, 2026
