essay is fin. yippee In the dim glow of the candle light, a figure starts to unveil the secrets of physics he who found a key that caused the discovery of space travel, he who caused us to have an extra class called physics when we grow up, he who founded many things because of an apple, he who unfolded gravity during a time of silence. Also known as the one and only Isaac Newton who not only made discoveries that lead to the launch of rockets and satellites but also formulated the laws of motion that is a key that helped many scientists to uncover the secrets of the stars and the planets and expand our knowledge of these majestic beings held together by gravity itself. While Newton’s name is now widespread and known with his groundbreaking scientific discovery, his beginnings didn’t go so well. After researching trusted sources, I have come to conclude that Sir Isaac Newton was born on January the twenty-fourth on 1643 in a tiny hamlet in Lincolnshire England, but as I looked through my reliable research, it says that 3 months after Sir Isaac Newton was born, a tragic event happened where his father died leaving his mother to care for him. Later on his mother remarried and left him in the care of his maternal grandmother. Just imagine if this was you, your dad dying shortly after you’re born, then your mom leaving you for another man so all you have left is your grandmother. Just the first part alone is enough to make me cry, then my own mother leaves me for another man. What kind of mother is that? Leaving her own child for another husband? When your first one is dead? No child deserves a mother that leaves them when the kid’s father dies. As we go through the early childhood of Sir Isaac Newton, my sources state that Newton excelled academically in his studies, especially outperforming in science. This shows that maybe this could be part of the cause of the discovery of gravity, I believe he found gravity because of a little accident that mixed with his love of science and his curiosity, forming this little event where a world/life changing event occurs and changes the world.I also think that this tiny thought that shaped into a massive investigation was something great like a little sprout of fires trickling to survive that raged into a massive wild fire. As we “travel” through the amazing life of Sir Isaac Newton, the beloved early childhood memories of Sir Isaac rolls to a stopping point, but If I said he founded not one but many more amazing discoveries that changed the earth in unimaginable ways, what would you think or react to these historical changes? As things fall into place in the magnificent life of Sir Isaac Newton, we can see him discovering something wonderful yet a little boring in my opinion such as gravity and etcetera etcetera. My research says that Sir Isaac Newton co-founded calculus with his fellow German mathematician Gottfried Leibniz, where they developed differentiation and integration. If you may not know, calculus is a subject that examines rates or the measurement of change. You also may not know what differentiation and integration means or its uses. Differentiation is used to measure any type of change such as how fast a species grows or how fast they reproduce. Integration is often used in the areas of geometry in math to calculate area or volume. These definitions may be helpful to you when you have a science test and you were sleeping in class and not listening to the teacher talk about your boring science vocabulary that you need to remember. Not only did the great Isaac Newton discover that, he discovered the three laws of motion where I will not be explaining because that will cause this to become more of a science lesson or review more than an essay on the main character here (Sir Isaac Newton), If you don’t know what the three laws of motions are then either you are not paying attention in class or you are not there yet in your studies, but the three laws were a significant part of space travel and many things that we accomplished thanks to the helpful Sir Isaac Newton. If you didn’t know, a lot of Newton’s discoveries played a crucial part in many things that caused us to have the life we have today, like flying on airplanes that are much more high-tech (the food still sucks in economy) than the old ones we used to have, and because of his discoveries we have rockets and space shuttles allowing us to dive deeper into the unknowns of this perplexing galaxy we dwell in.
Not only did Sir Isaac discover or founded the examples I listed above, my trustworthy research states that he also founded and decoded gravity, which is common knowledge since that is the main reason he is well known. His informational discovery of gravity was considered crucial knowledge you need to learn if you make it to college where you will have a class called physics that I hope will not be boring. If you don’t know what gravity is (which you should know considering that you should’ve learnt that in school ), Gravity is a non-contact force or invisible force that keeps us on the ground by pushing us downwards and is also the same force that keeps the moon in our orbit, without gravity we basically be floating around unable to keep something in place unless it is secured tightly. Imagine this (unless you have Aphastansia (a disorder where you can’t picture things in your mind) feel free to imagine and “crazy-fy” what I say) You are reading a book on your comfy bed with some music playing then boom (dramatic effect here) gravity is gone, you are floating, your cup of hot chocolate flying and spilling but not onto your bed, it’s spilling on the air! Your book is flying more gracefully than you ever can with open pages flying everywhere and the laptop is flying to your desk to find its bestie. This is what the world will be similar or like if there is low or no gravity. Placing things back together and wrapping it up, If you were in the era Newton discovered gravity and etcetera, what do you think will be an effect that will echo and is still helpful today from this great event? From rocket launches to the James Webb space telescope, what and who do you think may have played a crucial part in these extraordinary times? If you guessed gravity or Isaac Newton or laws of motion, you are spot-on! Without these significant discoveries, we may still be trying to investigate how to launch an airplane and have a great setback in our field of knowledge. Found in a very dependable source, a quote directing to Newton from a friend of ours: Martin Rees says "He showed that the force that makes the apple fall and that holds us on the ground is the same as the force that keeps the moon and planets in their orbits” Tells us that his discovery is still acknowledged by many all while inspiring man. Newton’s amazing findings are still helping us today, for example, if you haven’t heard, NASA is launching a rocket heading toward the backside of the moon, and I already know that knowing both the basics and the advance rules of the laws of motion is crucial to the rocket launches. I think that’s great that he is still being remembered today for his great findings (but why the extra physics class). From the same source there is another message directed toward him that his discoveries still help us, it was said by Jeremy gray a mathematical historian in the following “his theory of gravity wouldn’t have gotten us global positioning satellites, but it was enough to develop space travel” these messages/quotes for him shows that his discoveries were acknowledged and helped out. It must be nice to still be appreciated after you have been dead for over 400 years but that’s Isaac Newton we were talking about, the guy who founded gravity because of a falling apple. If Newton never found the laws of motion do you think future us would be affected a lot or affected a little bit? To conclude this, Isaac Newton is a well known person mainly for discovering calculus, gravity, and the laws of motion. His theories made a big change and now we can see rockets launching and view photos taken by space telescopes in space because of his groundbreaking discoveries. A famous quote said by him is “what we know is a droplet, what we don’t know is an ocean.” This quote inspires me a lot, by a lot I mean A LOT. But if Newton and his theories were never known then what do you think would happen to us?
