It started around mid 2023 me and my best buddy had an idea to start building a lean-to survival shelter for fun. We got most of it up in fact it was pretty close to being completed but for some reason we stopped working on it. Recently after years of weathering minor flooding and just the wood rotting it finally collapsed. that was about two or three months ago and since then my friend has moved away. But quite recently I started to build up a new one. I used some scrapes from our last shelter to work on the new one, but most of the wood I used is much newer. I will keep updating ever so often by posting more pictures as time goes by. This one is not quite finished yet as you can probably tell. For those wondering, yes that is a real fire down there. I mean how else will I keep my hands from freezing while working in the 20° weather?

You just need to know what you're doing and take your time. Rushing can resolve in poor structural support and can collapse pretty easily. Featured instrumental song: I am a man of constant sorrow
