[~ Under The Dove's Wing ~] { The Storms Will Sing - Page 1 } FawnKit stretched open her little eyes and gazed around, a mixture of smells and sights overwhelming the young she-kit’s body. She turned her gaze upwards and saw a beautiful diluted calico she-cat smiling down at her, her mother, the warm smell of milk unmistakable as she returned her mother’s grin. She turned her head and saw her two siblings next to her, one, a grey she-kit whose pelt was splotched with lighter grey and white, the other a black tom-kit with blue-grey and white markings. Her mother let out a rumbling purr. “You’ve opened your eyes!” She beamed, her tongue rasping a gentle lick across FawnKit’s ears. “Hi mama!” FawnKit purred and her siblings stirred beside her, both opening their eyes and stretching their small limbs. “FawnKit! You opened your eyes!” Her sister beamed. “Finally! Now we can leave the nursery! I’m PebbleKit, and this is ObsidianKit!” She announced, her paw playfully batting her brother’s ears as she introduced them. “And I’m sure you’re aware our mother is DoveMist! She’s the deputy of StormClan!” She boasted, proud to have the deputy as their mother, FawnKit looked up at their mother in awe, surprised by all the information she was being given. DoveMist chuckled at her daughter’s enthusiasm. “PebbleKit, don’t overwhelm her, she just opened her eyes.” DoveMist chastised gently, playfully flicking PebbleKit’s muzzle with her tail. “Yes mama…can we go outside the nursery now?” She begged, sweetly beaming up at her mom. Welcome to the first page of my new novel series! Book 1 is focused on the life of my Generations cat, FawnMist. But the names of the clans and such have been changed, and any characters that haven't been tagged to a person are NPC and were not canon in Generations. This is mainly posted on Insta, but I decided to post it here too. I do cameos for it on insta and may decide to do cameos here too but idk yet.
