CAUTION! This project is extremely laggy, with a staggering block count of 573, a duration of nearly 90 seconds (too much to handle, apparently) and a costume count of a whopping 353! MORE AMAZING ANIMATIONS --> @zip-pop , my main account
PLEASE READ. WHAT IS WSCI?-------------------------------------------------- WSCI (War on Scratch Cat Island) was supposed to be animated reality show, inspired from Battle for Dream Island. It was originally planned to have 14 episodes, run from 2026 to 2028 and have a total runtime of over one hour with each episode being around 7 minutes. HOW DID IT GET CANCELLED? --------------------------- I was very keen into making this project, until I realised, how quick could I code each episode, with the backgrounds, the writing, the props and especially the lip-sync? The answer was extremely slow, as I managed to create a low-quality minute of animation in five hours. After this, it didn't feel fun. Scratch is not only meant for big animations like this, but if I put my heart and soul into something, it usually didn't get around very much. You see, animations are well-liked, but games are more popular on Scratch. I rarely make games, but I favor animations, since they're more fun to make. Whenever I see someone getting lots of popularity on a game, it usually has codes from other people, sometimes without even crediting them properly. I don't hate these types of games, but I'd rather play the original. However, I love it when people come up with their own ideas and concepts, make something entirely up on their own, with dedication and love. Unfortunately, I didn't have that motivation towards WSCI. The idea of 14 7-minute episodes over the course of 2 years, not to mention with my life being there as well sounded really dangerous to my life. I didn't want WSCI feeding into my life. I hated working on it, despite having a really dedicated voice cast, like @ti-fi , who congratulated everyone on making the cast or for sticking with me for a long time, and don't forget who is the most followed person of the cast. I really loved these people sticking with me, despite my plan not turning out well in the end. I'm so impressed by the determination and resilience most people in the Scratch community have. Whether you're a big Scratcher, or just starting out, I encourage you to create ideas you want, showing your imagination to the world. One thing can inspire many people, which is why I love animating on Scratch.
