- Welcome to DodgeCube! - [Epilepsy Warning] Table of contents: - How to Play - Menu Extras - Tips and Tricks - Difficulty Information - Easy Mode/Hard Mode - How to play - When you click the start button, a cube will appear. The cube can freely move horizontally (left or right) but can only move vertically (up or down) on the line. Dodge the lasers and spikes (because they damage you) and get the highest score! When you run out of HP, you lose and go back to the menu. - Menu Extras - In the menu, you choose your cube's color, the device you are playing on, and the skin you have. This will not have a big impact on gameplay and is just for cosmetics. (In the future I might add online multiplayer, and then it could be used to tell players apart.) - Tips and Tricks - Try to stay in the middle/right and watch the whole screen. Remember that spikes come from the left, and beams come from the other sides. Since horizontal beams take up the whole row, it doesn't matter where on the row you are, you just need to get out of the way. Same thing with the vertical beams, it doesn't matter which row you are in, you just need to move out of the way. - Difficulty Information - This chapter is a list of difficulties and when they appear. Each difficulty makes hazards do 2.5% more damage and go 3.75% faster. -Easy (Teal): 0-5 Difficulty Changes -Normal (Green): 6-10 Difficulty Changes -Moderate (Yellow): 11-15 Difficulty Changes -Hard (Orange): 16-20 Difficulty Changes -Harder (Red): 21-25 Difficulty Changes -Hardest (Maroon): 26-30 Difficulty Changes -INSANE (Black): 31-40 Difficulty Changes -E X T R E M E (Purple): 41-50 Difficulty Changes -I M P O S S I B L E (White) 51-75 Difficulty Changes -Win: 76 Difficulty Changes - Easy Mode/Hard Mode - Easy Mode is great for beginners who just started, as it doesn't get hard as fast. Hard Mode is meant for experienced players who are looking for a challenge or anyone willing to test their skills. In easy mode, difficulty changes only make hazards 0.75% more damage and only 1% faster compared to the normal 2.5% more damage and 3.75% faster. Hard mode is way harder, with each difficulty change adding 5% more damage and 7.5% faster.
