hello axolotls:P Remember these are just my opinions. I'd be happy to hear what you think! Debut: Picture to Burn. I love that we get to see angry Taylor. I love angry Taylor. She writes such good songs:) Fearless: Hey Stephen. I actually don't know why I like this one so much, it's just a thing, Speak Now: Long Live. I love how it mixes fairy- tale imagery with a romance song. It's so iconic, and I'm not lying, I was OBSESSED with this song in 4th grade. Red: I Knew You Were Trouble/ The Very First Night It's probably just nostalgia bc this was one of the the first Taylor songs I ever heard, but it's still good. as for The Very First Night, I love how upbeat it is. 1989: I Know Places I just love Taylor's voice in this song particularly. Is that weird? Like the way she says "my love" gives me chills. Reputation: I Did Something Bad/ So It Goes/ Dress Like I said, angry Taylor. When I was little this song would play in my head every time I stole a piece of candy or something. Lover: False God/ MAATHP I love how it stands out from the rest of the songs in Lover, being slightly less poppy. I do love pop songs though. I actually really like the sax solo. Honorable mention: Soon You'll Get Better Folklore: Seven/ The Lakes I couldn't choose! They're both so poetic, and Seven especially touches me. If you haven't listened to them YOU MUST! Evermore: Dorothea I love how it's a little bit country. Not a lot, but there's a subtle hint of country. Close second: Closure. Midnights: YOYOK& Would've, Could've, Should've This beautifully honest song about unrequited love and learning to be strong is easily my favorite from Midnights. Same for Would've, Could've, Should've TTPD: I Hate It Here/ ICDIWABH I Hater It Here I find relatable because I often daydream about escaping from a place I find boring, namely school. And ICDIWABH is just the best. No comment it's the best. TLOASG: Father Figure/ Elizabeth Taylor/ CANCELLED Father Figure I love for its story telling aspect, and Elizabeth Taylor is probably one of my favorite love songs. Also CANCELLED reminds me of Rep, one of my 4 favorite albums. Taytaytataytaytaytay the tater tot. If you've scrolled down this fare comment Tay Tay the tater tot. Please.
