welcome to storyline tasks part one! °⋆.ೃ࿔*:･°⋆.ೃ࿔*:･ After Em gives you the tour, you’re exhausted, and head to where she pointed out the dining hall. A meal sounds great right now - you’re hungry, and teleporting to the middle of an alternate universe took a lot of your energy. You soon find the door to the cafeteria and open it, grab a tray from a table beside the door, and get in line to get some food. The cafeteria is full of people. Most of them are talking to each other, chattering and chattering, talking about who-knows-what. As for the food, it’s pretty much exactly what you’d expected - mangoes made in different ways with some sides (like chips for the mango salsa). Just as you’re about to serve yourself some food, you hear a gasp. Then some more. Turning around, you take in the scene. Several people are staring at their food unmovingly, fear and disgust in their eyes. You’re confused - obviously. The food looks and smells great. There’s nothing that would be gross or worth this reaction. You walk over to the nearest table, where a girl with blonde hair and green eyes is sitting. You look down at her food - she had a mango smoothie and a grilled mango steak. Both are covered in bugs. Black bugs, pretty big ones. They’re crawling all over it, and as you watch, eating them. More gasps echo through the cafeteria as each and every person finds bugs in their food. Em pops up behind you. “Hi again!” she says cheerfully, although her eyes betray worry and fear. “It looks like there’s a problem with the food. Could I enlist your help?” Although your stomach rumbles, you agree, and follow her out of the cafeteria and into her office, where she tells you what needs to be done. °⋆.ೃ࿔*:･°⋆.ೃ࿔*:･ ☀︎Tasks☀︎ to mark a task complete, please comment below with what task you completed! 1. COMPLETE! Catch some of the bugs for research and testing. 3 campers must go outside and do something analog (not online) for 30 minutes each. || 3/3 people 2. Take the bugs to the lab. As a cabin, 5 dailies must be completed (multiple people CAN do one daily and it will count towards this, or one person could do 5 dailies in a row!) || 2/5 dailies completed 3. Complete a series of tests on the bugs. 3 campers must read an article or other non-fiction source material (or watch a video) about a topic that they’re interested in and write 100 words about what they learned. || 0/3 campers 4.
