' @simplyillogical - My name is Medkit. I'm a member of the Raven Corporation system. I've owned several cats in the past, and this will be my first Era 3 cat if I choose to take Poppykit fully, due to how I'm extremely connected to him. But I am also connected to Campanulacyclone. You may know me through my menace known as Celestialblight, considering he may or may not have been my only cat of popularity... I'm incredibly active, checking in daily and trying to get my cats as much exp as possible. I would state myself as an 8/10 in activity. Longetivity.. My cats are not lucky, is the only thing. I'm going to do everything to carry him to adulthood, but my cats have either gotten poor rolls from anything meaningful [Such as a singular fight to random poisonings]. I want to take risks, but I don't trust my poor luck. My system has been roleplaying for about 9 years now, and we've been writing for around 6 or so in the Warrior Cats space. It's nice to have a chance to express our ideas. I want Poppykit because he's amazing in every regard; he's beautiful, gives me ideas, and reminds me of characters I adore. This gave me similar inspiration and ideas as the ones I got with Celeste. Not to mention several people who I trust and know very well have kits in the litter, and I know this will turn out to be a legendary set of siblings. <3 Why should I have Poppy? Hm. I mean, I put in effort into my application, worked a lot to try to nearly preclaim him, setting up ideas, rambling about him, and more. This at least qualifies me to be looked at I hope, lol. But that doesn't make me any more valid than the next person applying for Poppykit. Previous Generations cats and how they died: - Aukkit (Weekly) - Blazingsun (Poisoned Prey) - Honestpaw (Removed :( ) - Celestialblight (Died in a Duel / Removed) - Campanulacyclone (May be removed due to unhealing major) PERSONALITY + social , energetic , uplifting , determined , positive = talkative , extroverted , curious - naive , resentful , two-faced , selfish , erratic Poppy is a very odd case of a cat. He wants to be adored and loved by everyone around himself, and will actively take steps to be given praise by others; he almost yearns for it, but not in a way that he would deem creepy or something others wouldn't like. He actively talks to others and makes friends, as well as having a smile on his face. If he's got something to say, he'll say it, and make sure he says it loud! No need in hiding when so many cats love him, right? I could see him forming a few friend groups, joining actual groups, and more; going out of his way to be a sort of ambassador to join these things, trying to unite as many cats as possible as long as it means he gets the attention of everyone. However, he feels resentment to anyone who has wronged him in the past. He doesn't mean to, truly! He just.. Has it for a while. To the point where he would commit murder to ease his itch for vengeance. He also is a liar by nature. From things such as if he did something or not, to how he is, to who he is- He makes up a fake identity for himself, a performer and liar when he's actually likely more calm and level-headed. He is a performer, and this is his show. Song is also shockingly dorky at times; being easy-going and light-hearted when it comes to any topics that may be embarrassing; a piece of his real self shining through. He could tell you all about the different traits of certain bugs, or how to put on a proper show or speech. Compliment him, closely and genuinely, and you will see him falter in his usual social persona in favor of being overjoyed at it. + He's a bit awkward even if he is social and talkative. To the point he'd probably ask if he can attack you before doing it anyway.. Then feeling embarrassed only about the asking part.
RESEARCH General; HPD is a Cluster B disorder specializing around attention, positive or negative. It's often heavily stigmatized in ways that are gross and should never be done to any disorder, which is why I want to represent it fairly with Poppykit. He means a lot to me, and we have suspected we have HPD for years on end. It's characterized by excessive emotions, attention-seeking behavior, and feeling left out whenever not being in the spotlight. Signs; Attention-Seeking or even risky behavior, yet with heavy harm avoidance due to disliking punishments or non-rewards, Novelty-seeking behavior, which would likely end up getting themselves a reward, Reward dependence, which signifies that someone may prefer rewards or getting them compared to nothing, and will rely on them even to feel accomplished or happy, and Low Persistence, making the individual want to give up on goals whenever there are barriers in the way. Causes; Learned behaviors, genetic information and family members having it, as well as environments when growing up may cause this disorder. How it affects Poppykit; Pops is very visibly untreated for HPD, and it affects him heavily; he relies on attention from other, and often craves positive attention. But if he gets negative attention, he still sees it as attention. Without it, song sees himself as lesser. He refuses to be unimportant; terrified of being forgotten, of being ignored; he will do whatever it takes to be seen. He will lash out, be strongly emotional, even flirting with others he doesn't exactly find interest in just so he doesn't have to be alone. Sources are hard to find, considering how stigmatized this disorder is. He will use He / Song / She pronouns, but strictly dislike being called They/Them! Do not use those on her. Will also be Omnisexual Polyamorous [Attracted to generally masculine others, doesn't mind generally sharing a relationship with someone who's feminine/female as well, but it's a preference. TRIVIA - If Bo wins, he will be very close to Splendorkit and sort of like an older brother figure. - Has a sun-and-moon type of dynamic with Floppykit.
