To make it work, shift-click the flag to enable Turbo Mode. This will make the rendering much, much faster, and actually make it look right, instead of looking like a mess of pixels that only slightly resemble what it's supposed to be. This is only a 24x32 display, but maybe you could remix this to make it bigger!
I rewrote it to have higher resolution but its laggy because I didn't optimize it much
