Chi snarled, for the sound was like one of a cat’s, and they thought that it was a trespassing rouge or something rather, for the smell wasnt like any of the clans. They leapt up through the undergrowth, snarling fiercely. They stopped, scared, for it wasnt any cat, it was a lynx. The Lynx leapt towards Chi, snapping its ferocious teeth. Chi screamed, but it was too late. The lynx sank its teeth into their neck, and all faded to black. Chi wasn't dead yet. They could feel their lif energy slipping, sliding away, leaving her. Why? Was their only thought. What had they done wrong for StarClan to finish them? Then it hit them. Rye had had it too easy hadn’t they? Of course. Chi had never felt any /proper/ mourning. They couldn’t blame StarClan. But this would be hard on all of their siblings. Lemonsplash, Blueberrysky and… Raspberryblaze. They wished they could’ve spent more time with each of them, especially Raspberryblaze. “Why?” Chi whispered, coughing up blood. “Why…” with that, they felt their life go away. It was like the light of her namesake had whisked out, leaving an empty shell. Chi woke up to a blinding bright light. “Welcome, dear warrior, to StarClan…”
