PROLOGUE Wars always have their end, right? Well, how does war really start, and who really started it? Because most people would say this person did it, or that person did it, but they never really truly know who did it. But this war, this war is different because of one person. They were truly the ones who started the war, the ones who joined HOU just because of a lover and a lover that will soon be dead by their own hand.
Antonio It's almost 10 PM, and yet I'm still at work. It wasn’t a surprise either, especially considering that the last person had been more of a bystander than a contributor, only sitting around and having their control slip away without a single moment of effort. He got fired on the spot in front of everyone, and it was quite a scene. I couldn't help but think that if I had been there, I would have\ reached for my phone to capture the moment. It would have made quite a memorable video, one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen. But now that he is fired, I'm stuck with the closing shift in the cafe. As I was writing in my notebook I didn't hear the door open, and a tall, quiet man rang the bell at the front desk, so I, being me, closed my notebook hard and walked out of the backroom. “Hi, welcome to Emerald Cafe. What drink can I get you?” I sighed, waiting for an answer from him. Andrew POV I walked into the cafe, and it was quite nice for a small business. There weren't too many people in there, the air smelled nice, and not to mention the drink menu. I was pleasantly surprised that not many people know about this place, not even me. As I was looking around, I rang the bell, and a short, blonde-haired boy walked out of the back room. Once our eyes met, I was struck by the piercing blue of his gaze, a color of a clear winter sky. Despite their chill, those eyes held a beauty that drew me in completely. It was like tiny celestial bodies were swirling within them, flickering like stars in the night. I found myself unable to look away, as though those eyes could reveal secrets about the universe or maybe even about me. I didn’t know I was looking at him for a long time, until he got nervous, to the point that he started fidgeting with his hand. Antonio POV The tall man blinked and shook his head slightly before turning his attention toward the desk and started walking toward me, but I couldn’t shake the feeling that I was caught in a moment I wasn’t meant to witness. “I’ll take a black coffee to go, please.” the man said, taking me out of my thoughts, then I nod turning to make his coffee. “Have you heard of HOU? The one that just opened not too long ago.” I looked at him suspiciously but nodded. “Yeah, it stands for Heroes of Universe, right?” He nodded, surprised. “Yeah, you’re right. I didn’t expect you to know that. Never judge a book by its cover, huh?” I nodded and turned to the espresso machine, feeling his gaze lingering on me. I focused on making his coffee, the rich aroma shifting my attention.“So, are you planning to check it out?"
