If you have any questions, ask me in the comments of this project. :3 Press 'x' to skip the text (make it all load) Press 'z' after all text has appeared to clear it. You must use the "Say all (line 1) (line 2) (line 3) (line 4) (line 5) (line 6)" and the "wait for z pressed" functions/ custom blocks in that order in order to properly clear the on-screen text for new text GREAT to use for RPG/Undertale-like games HOW IT WORKS: Instead of using clones, it uses the pen tool to stamp the text on screen. This makes the project run faster than using clones would. (you would have some 40+ clones per line or 62+ on scratch mods) You do NOT need to use up the text on every line. It will work with less than 40 letters per line, so don't worry about that. If you MUST use clones, you can ask me or mess with the code in order to use clones instead. I STILL GET CREDIT IF YOU DO THAT!!!! (see the box below for allowed use of this text engine!)
Feel free to use your own assets for the letters of the text engine. I already know the assets in the project are low quality! Free to use WITH CREDIT!! Here's how: IF you're using a scratch project you MUST: Put "Credits to @SlightestWild for text engine" in the credits section AND put "Credits to @itsTezziX (youtube) for the text engine" IF you're NOT using a scratch project (some mod of scratch), you MUST: Put "Credits to @itsTezziX (youtube) for the text engine" or something along those lines in a credits section inside of the game/project.
