A: By default, I write in first person, but sometimes I find myself writing in third person. I try to give this at least a little thought before I start writing, if it's important. Q6: Do you have any advice for writers? If so, what is it? A: Make sure your characters have believable motivations. Trust me, it will greatly increase the quality of your work. (7 point plot structure, hero's journey plot structure, etc) A: I don't really have a favorite plot structure. I've lately been trying out (and liking) a plot structure where neither side of the main conflict is specifically right or wrong. I've also been wanting to look more into kishotenketsu lately. Q10: What's your inspiration? A: I often get inspired by other media, then take pieces of it and make it into an original story. Q11: Do you like making graphic novels/comics? A: I used to. A: Yes, assuming this isn't specifically talking about someone who isn't me. Q21: Do you give MBTI personality types to your characters? A: No. Q22: Writing in a notebook or writing on google docs? A: Neither. I write on word. Q23: What do you think is the best thing for someone to do when they get writers block? A: Try to think of ways you could complicate or advance the plot or a subplot. Q24: When did you realize you wanted to be a writer? A: I don't know. Q25: Do you have a lot of OCs? A: I have like one or two. Q26: Do you have a lot of stories you are writing? A: No. Q27: What's the most difficult part of planning a story? A: Getting the idea for the story in the first place. Q28: Do you do journaling? A: No. Q29: Do you write in one specific way/theme, or lots of different ways/themes? e.g. fantasy, third person, non-fiction, first person, second person, fiction, etc A: I default to first-person present-tense fiction, but I sometimes make exceptions for the first two. A: No, but I should really try that sometime. Q33: Do you think you take way too long planning what to write instead of actually writing? A: For every one of my stories, I either take too long planning and worldbuilding and not enough time writing, or vice versa. Q34: What's your favourite part when editing? A: I don't know. I haven't ever properly edited before. Q35: What's your least favourite part when editing? A: See previous answer. Q36: How long have you been writing? A: I started writing regularly in middle school. Q37: Have you tried writing in a new way before? A: Yes. Every time I've either loved it or really disliked it. Q38: What, in your opinion, is the most fun theme to write about? (not genre. A theme is like war, coming of age, good vs evil, family, etc) A: Peace (I like writing stories about two enemies coming to understand each other) Q39: Have you written characters with sad backstories? A: Yes. Q40: Have you ever written yourself in a story? A: Only with symbolism. Q41: Do you usually unintentionally make a side character more interesting than a main character? A: I've probably done this at some point, but I don't recall when. Q42: Have you ever written a character as something other than a human? A: Yes. As a fantasy writer, I would estimate about two thirds of my characters aren't humans. Q43: Have you ever written the main character as the villain before? A: No.

(things you personally find entertaining to read/write) A: I've recently found I enjoy writing stories where I make the audience expect a romance subplot but then surprise them (It might get a bit old for me after a while. After all, I /may/ have just recently realized I'm aro-ace...) Q45: Have you written romance before? A: I tried. I didn't like it, even though it was fantasy. Q46: Do you put life lessons in your stories? A: Yes (I'm not sure what exactly to say here, but I would like to put a lot of emphasis on it) Q47: What's your favourite character from a book?
