The stardrops dissolve and melt into water once they make contact with anything, but when it (rarely) snows, the snowflakes are shaped like stars too, which is a nice sight. Floating islands can also be seen connected to buildings, which are the staple of the city (not counting the various aqueducts and bridges, of course). honestly i love how the bridge ended up the whole thing gives me city of tears vibes :DDD
