Press [G] and then [H] for instructions. Some stuff is broken and/or unimplemented, as the project was never finished. I may expand upon it in the future. The intro with the text is the only thing I added on, the rest of the project is mostly as it was. I still have an unmodified copy of it from October 2020.
After careful consideration, I present to you the one, the only... Paradise! A work of my previous caps-loving self and the precursor to Paradise Creator, it was meant to be a paradise where one could relax and have fun. No nonsense, no perfectionism, just... a peaceful scrolling area to interact with and explore. This is a project I was very obsessed with years ago, but never finished because it wasn't perfect. I kept setting unrealistic expectations for myself, dreaming bigger and bigger, until I lost sight of what it was meant to be. I tried releasing it as "Paradise Creator," where one could create their own paradise, but I severely overcomplicated it and lost valuable brain cells and time better spent elsewhere. Recently I've delved into even more needlessly complicated stuff. I have been very focused on the technical aspects of Scratch and pushing its limits. As unnaturally entertaining as this is, today let us go back to a time when I didn't care about creating the perfect project or programming efficiently... but rather when I shared nice, simple projects and named things in all caps like a psycho. And didn't spend 8 hours a day on a computer...and had a life...and used normal words. You know, words that aren't big, like this. Much better for the mind! Perhaps I will dig up more stuff from those days and go back to making these sorts of projects instead of writing about abstract nonsense no one truly needs. :) [Yes, I was wayyyyy more cringe back then, but maybe that's better than hopelessly trying to never be cringe.] ♪ Scratchin' like it's COVID-19, as much as it sucked ♪ idk lol, and you know what? that's fine :P I hope you like this project, b/c technically it's been six years in the making <insert happy tears emoji here> 6/7/2026: As Scratch has recently changed their licensing for stuff, I hereby release this and all projects shared by me under the terms of the old CC-BY-SA 2.0 license.
