beginning of 3rd grade age 8- Ami she/her- has no idea what LGBTQ+ is end of 3rd grade age 9- Ami she/her- finds out what LGBTQ+ is and supports. Doesn't think about it or really care at all. beginning of 4th grade age 9- Ami she/her- still a straight ally. Sister comes out as bi. end of 4th grade age 10- Ami she/her- not attracted to males anymore. Gets first female crush. Lesbian beginning of 5th grade age 10- Ami she/her- Lesbian, has a pan classmate and finds out there is a girl couple in my grade. Still has female crush end of 5th grade age 11- Ami she/her- attracted to boys and girls. Bi. Best friend comes out as bi. Begins to question gender beginning of 6th grade age 11- Ami/Asher she/they/he- doesn't feel one gender all the time. Starts going by Asher sometimes and goes by any pronouns. beginning of 7th grade age 12- Ami/Asher she/they/he- genderfluid. Realizes gender doesn't matter to me for who I'm attracted to. Male crush. Middle of 7th grade age 13- Ami she/they- doesn't feel fully a female, but still partially identifies as one. Pan. Female crush.
