:CW/TW- Bl00d, mentions of k!lling, weap0ns, d3ath, fighting, b0mbs | POV- Onyx: The female guard collapses to the ground, knocked out, but not d3ad. There's no need for me to k!ll her, that would waste precious time. Hastily, I wipe my bl00dy hands on my pants, adjust my gear, and scan the hallway. Sable's still fighting the last guard. As I run over to help, the guard uses his weap0n to knock Sable's d4gger to the ground. "No!" I scream helplessly, running as fast as I can towards them. I can't let Sable die... The guard smiles evilly, ready to drive his kn!fe through Sable's heart. Almost there! Finally, I reach them, and throw my spear. His gleeful expression fades as my weap0n !mpales him straight through the stomach. He crumples to the floor, not even getting a chance to scream before his life ends. I almost slip on his bl00d trying to get over to Sable, who's trembling on the ground. He looks up, cheeks wet. 'I really owe you, Onyx,' he scribbles hastily on the notepad. "You don't," I tell him. "We made a promise in the lab, remember? So-" Kai clears faer throat. "Can y'all help me with, I dunno, tending to Sky here?" Oh. What? "She's alive!?" Sable and I shout, and rush to Sky's side. She is, in fact, alive. Her chest rises and falls. Her pulse is steady. Kai lifts her shirt, and we can see an ugly, mottled bruise by Sky's abdomen. "The bulletproof vest kept her alive," Sable guesses. I realize everyone's tending to Sky except Paris. Kai notices me looking around, and says, "He's a lookout. If you hear a whistle blow, it's time to fight again." Star goes back to inspecting. "How are we gonna get her out of here?" I ask. "She's unconscious, and not waking up anytime soon." "Not sure," Kai mutters, shrugging slightly. "Can you call your mentor? If not, take my watch and call mine." I forgot about the watches that the goldbeasts gave us to communicate with them. I turn mine on, and a holograph of my mentor appears. It's not in human form, and it clutches something to its chest. "Nice makeover," I joke. "But in all seriousness, can you come to this wing of the lab? We're by a- you know, you can just teleport here." It nods. "Sky's in critical condition," I continue. "We need you to either treat her or take her out of the lab." One of the other mentors appears next to the goldbeast. "I can do that. She was my trainee, after all." "Good," I say. "And to my mentor- what're you holding?" Its ears flatten. "Something I have to get to Sable," it hisses. "For him only." "What is it, though?" I demand. "A bomb. And we've got...about four hours before it explodes."
